Turkeys and Chicken
This year we expanded onto the organic pastures of our neighbors at Bloody Brook Farm. In June 2016 we completed raising a batch of about 500 slow growing, heritage-derived Freedom Ranger chickens out on their lush fields in Deerfield. In November, we finished raising a small batch of Massachusetts-hatched, Massachusetts-raised turkeys.
Notes on Kosher Certification:
We have trialed several options for kosher slaughter. Please contact us if you have specific questions. The chickens and turkeys currently for sale were commercially processed at regional poultry processing facilities certified kosher by the Orthodox Union and Rabbi David Miller.
